Five different ways to improve your smartphone storage

 



There have been a lot of concerns regarding the low storage space among smartphone users. Whereas the given memory can be utilized in a better way using some tips and tricks. Here we discuss how to enhance the memory capacity in android devices and let's check. 


1. Uninstall idle applications. 

Many mobile applications are there in your devices that are not being used. When you do so, you can save a lot of space in your device. The unwanted applications are downloaded and installed in your devices while you are updating your smartphone devices. Find them and uninstall. It will enhance your storage space.


2. Turn on the auto delete option in your devices to delete your old unwanted messages. 

Turning on the auto delete option in your mobile devices will help you to delete your old unwanted messages, thus you can save some storage space. In that way set the limit of 200 messages in your device and when it reaches, your older messages will be deleted automatically. 

To set enable this option >Go to Message > Settings > More Settings > Delete Old Messages


3. Take backup in cloud 

Using a cloud storage service will be a game changer in saving the storage on your devices. It will make a huge impact on your device's storage space. Once you take the cloud backup, the files will be removed from your device and you can access them whenever you want. Google Drive is the best and dedicated storage option for android phone users.

  •  i Cloud- Free space up to 5GB
  •  One Drive- 5GB in first account.


4. Take a backup

You can back up your data into a computer or other hard disk using a USB cable. These backup files can be kept safely and accessed when you want.



5. Free up space on the device

In this option, the user can free up some space from their device. In order to do that, go to settings and select device maintenance then select storage options, in some devices device care option is there instead device maintenance.  Under this option, you can see the 'free up space' button. When you click on that your smartphone will start to make a process that will free up some space by deleting backup files. After completing the process you will have some free space in your device. Thus you can save more files on your device.
