How to get a duplicate aadhaar card if it loses.

In India, the aadhaar card is an important document. It is a biometric authentication which is having the critical details of the citizens. Today, this is used as a valid and necessary document. This is mandatory to have as a document while applying for a PAN card, passport, Bank account opening, and  LPG subsidy. 

If you lose your aadhaar card, it is very easy to get it back. UIDAI website provides the information in this regard. If you have linked your email id and mobile in your aadhaar card, the service will be available online itself. What you need to do to get your duplicate aadhaar card. Let's check here. 

Open the UIDAI website, where you can see a lot of options. Click on my aadhaar option then you can see the retrieve option. This the option where you can apply for your new aadhaar card. Select this option and you will have another window. You can give all of your information to this page. Make sure that all your details given for the duplicate card are correct. If you have made any mistakes on that page, you won't get an entry to the next page. 

You have to give the aadhaar number with the enrollment number on the page where you give your information. When you give the name and mobile number, you will get the enrollment number. This number should be given with the aadhaar number. The enrollment number would be there in the printout of the acknowledgment that you were given when you have applied for the first aadhaar card.  

After entering the enrollment and aadhaar number you need to enter the captcha below. When you finished entering the captcha, you will get an OTP number into your registered mobile number. Then you can use the mAADHAAR app that is out by the Government for aadhaar related services.Through this app, people would be given many of the aadhaar related services.

You need to pay Rs.50 as the fee by the UIDAI website after giving all of your details through this app. To make the payment, online payment methods can be used. 

Then you can apply for the hard copy of your aadhaar card. It will reach you within 15 days. Make sure that, all the processes should be done correctly.
