Done wrong! To fix the bug, WhatsApp is bringing back the View Once feature

WhatsApp has withdrawn the View Ones image and video features only from the desktop version. However, it was criticized by many users. View Once feature is a mechanism to send a message in such a way that the recipient of the message can see it only once.

The View Ones feature was very helpful for users to further secure their privacy. Now users can send images, videos, and texts using the Views feature. But this is only possible for mobile users. The View Ones feature is no longer available in desktop chats.

Wabetainfo says that this status will change soon and now desktop users will also be able to send images, videos, etc., ensuring their privacy through the View Ones feature. It is not clear why this feature was withdrawn from WhatsApp's web version last year.

But, realizing the importance of the View Ones feature, it is a good move that WhatsApp has decided to re-introduce this feature to the desktop version. Similar to Snapchat users, WhatsApp's View Once feature allows users to temporarily send pictures or videos without saving them to the recipient's gallery.

Messages sent through the View Once feature can be viewed for a limited time only. This feature is very useful for sharing sensitive or confidential information. That's why many WhatsApp users are using this feature in their private chats.

This allows the use of a feature where the message disappears after the recipient has viewed it once.

The View Once feature can be enabled in the caption bar of the drawing editor in WhatsApp for Windows. When using the View Once feature, sent photos and videos cannot be forwarded, saved, or shared. Such messages will automatically disappear if not opened within 14 days of sending.
