Jio said that discussions for this are progressing and that it has spoken to leading hardware companies in the country. Jio is expected to launch this laptop within months. Another report also suggests that the laptop will be available starting at Rs 15,000.

Its price also depends on the memory, processing power, and chipset of the laptop. However, an official said that Jio is trying to provide better battery and processor in the new device. Officials also claimed that it is possible to make laptops at such a low price because Jio Cloud is used for storage and processing. He added that users can expect better service from this.

Currently, HP is experimenting with Chromebooks in collaboration with Jio. Both companies hope to complete the construction soon. At the same time, this report also points out that Jio is likely to introduce a monthly subscription for cloud laptops in the lineup. Jio subscription will be introduced in the form of cloud PC software.

Launched at Rs 16,499, this version comes with an 11.6-inch anti-glare HD display. It runs on a 2.0 GHz octa-core processor. Jio is ready to launch budget-friendly laptops after these. Recently, Jio also introduced feature phones in 4G. Jio announced that the company's new move is to shift 2G users to 4G.

Jio has managed to make huge inroads in the feature phone market within a short span of time.
